At Velana International Airport
After completing immigration and collecting baggage, guests should follow the transfer instructions provided for their confirmed itinerary.
If an airport transfer is included in the package, do not leave the airport without confirming the transfer arrangements.
Guests should remain reachable through the contact details provided for the transfer coordinator or local representative where applicable.
Important Flight Timing Recommendation
To allow sufficient time for immigration, baggage collection and onward transportation:
- Guests arriving on Day 1 are advised to book flights arriving at Velana International Airport (MLE) after 1:00 PM Maldives Time (MVT).

1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required booking amount has been received and confirmation has been issued by us.
Availability is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
2. Passenger Information
Travellers must provide accurate:

- Nationality
- Contact details
- Flight details
- Other information requested for the booking
Any error in passenger information must be reported immediately.
Additional charges resulting from incorrect information may be payable by the traveller.
3. Passport & Travel Documents
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that their passports and travel documents are valid for international travel.
We are not responsible for denied boarding, immigration refusal or travel disruption resulting from incomplete, inaccurate or invalid documentation.
4. Immigration & Visa
Entry into the Maldives is ultimately subject to the decision of Maldives Immigration and other relevant authorities.

5. Flight Arrangements
International and domestic flights are governed by the respective airline's terms and conditions.

Rain, wind, rough seas, strong currents and other weather conditions can affect:
- boat transfers,
- excursions,
- snorkelling,
- diving,
- fishing,
- dolphin cruises,
- sandbank visits,
- water sports.
Such changes do not automatically qualify for a refund when caused by circumstances beyond our control.
11. Speedboat Transfers
Speedboat transfers are operated by third-party transport providers.
Schedules may change due to:
- weather,
- sea conditions,
- passenger volume,
- operational issues,
- safety requirements,
- government instructions.
Safety decisions made by the boat operator will take priority over the planned itinerary.
12. Missed Transfers
If a traveller fails to report at the designated meeting point at the required time, the transfer may be considered missed.
Any replacement transfer or related expense may be charged separately.
13. Personal Expenses
Personal expenses are not included unless specifically mentioned.
Travellers are responsible for expenses such as:
- shopping,
- snacks,
- beverages,
- room service,
- minibar,
- laundry,
- spa services,
- telephone charges,
- additional activities,

14. Damage to Property
Any damage caused by a traveller to hotel, guesthouse, vehicle, boat or other property may be charged directly to the traveller.
15. Lost or Damaged Belongings
Travellers are responsible for their personal belongings.
We are not responsible for:
- lost luggage,
- stolen belongings,
- damaged personal items,
- valuables left unattended.
Please use hotel safes where available.
16. Medical & Health Expenses
Medical treatment, hospitalisation, medicines and related expenses are the traveller's responsibility unless covered by their own travel insurance.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
17. Children
Child policies, extra beds, meals and activity restrictions vary by accommodation and service provider.
The applicable policy will depend on the confirmed booking.
18. Changes to Itinerary
The itinerary may occasionally need to be changed because of:

- transport schedules,
- government restrictions,
- safety concerns,
- operational issues,
- accommodation circumstances,
- unforeseen events.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide an alternative arrangement of comparable nature.
19. Third-Party Services
Hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, boat operators, activity providers and other suppliers may be third-party service providers.
Their operational policies may apply in addition to our package terms.
20. No Guarantee of Specific Experience
Photography, videos and descriptions on our website are intended to represent the destination and package experience.
Natural conditions, weather, marine life and other environmental factors cannot be guaranteed.
For example, sightings of dolphins, turtles, manta rays, whale sharks or other marine life are never guaranteed.
21. Traveller Conduct
Travellers must behave respectfully towards:
- local residents,
- accommodation staff,
- transport operators,
- guides,
- other guests,
- local customs and laws.
Serious misconduct, harassment, abusive behaviour or illegal activity may result in termination of services without refund, subject to applicable law.

Gotripzee.com acts as a travel/package organiser and/or booking facilitator for the services specifically included in the confirmed itinerary. Certain services, including accommodation, transportation, excursions, activities, ferries, speedboats, airlines and other travel services, are provided by independent third-party suppliers.
We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate the services included in your booking. However, Gotripzee.com cannot be held responsible for circumstances, delays, cancellations, service interruptions or changes arising from events or conditions beyond our reasonable control or from the actions, omissions or operational decisions of third-party suppliers.
2. Circumstances Beyond Our Control / Force Majeure
Circumstances beyond reasonable control may include, but are not limited to:
- Airline delays or cancellations
- Airport closures
- Adverse weather or rough sea conditions
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Immigration decisions
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or industrial action
- Technical failures
- Political disturbances
- Public health emergencies
- Supplier failures
- Transport interruptions
- Changes imposed by government or local authorities
- Other unforeseen events affecting travel operations
Where such circumstances prevent or materially affect the delivery of the package, the itinerary may be modified, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled where reasonably necessary.
Any refund, credit, replacement service or alternative arrangement will depend on the amounts recoverable from the relevant suppliers and the applicable booking and cancellation conditions. Gotripzee.com does not guarantee a refund for services that are non-refundable or for amounts that cannot be recovered from suppliers.
3. Supplier Terms & Conditions
Hotels, guesthouses, airlines, ferry operators, speedboat operators, activity providers and other suppliers may have their own cancellation, amendment, baggage, refund, check-in, operational and service conditions.
Where applicable, these supplier terms may apply in addition to the terms of Gotripzee.com.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on:
- The cancellation policy applicable to the booked package
- The cancellation policy of the relevant suppliers
- The date and timing of the cancellation
- Whether the service has already been consumed
- Whether the applicable amount is recoverable from the supplier
- Any applicable cancellation, administrative or supplier charges
Non-refundable services cannot be refunded simply because the traveller chooses not to use them.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the package cancellation policy, voluntary cancellation, early departure or failure to use an included service does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund.
5. No-Show
Failure to arrive for a booked accommodation, transfer, excursion, activity, ferry, speedboat or other service without prior notice may be treated as a no-show.
A no-show may result in the loss of the applicable service and/or payment, subject to the relevant supplier's terms.
6. Unused Services
No automatic refund will be provided for services voluntarily unused by the traveller, including:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Transfers
- Sightseeing
- Excursions
- Activities
- Ferry or speedboat services
- Other services included in the package
This applies even where the traveller chooses not to use the service after the trip has commenced, unless otherwise agreed under the applicable cancellation policy.
7. No Last-Minute Customisation
Once the trip has commenced, no changes or customisation requests will be accepted to the itinerary, accommodation, meal plan, transportation arrangements or package inclusions.
Any changes requested before commencement of the trip will be subject to availability, supplier approval and applicable additional charges.
8. Amendments Before Travel
Requests to change any of the following may be considered subject to availability:
- Travel dates
- Accommodation
- Number of travellers
- Transfers
- Activities or excursions
- Room category
- Meal plan
- Other confirmed package services
Additional supplier, administrative or fare difference charges may apply.
9. Optional Activities
Water sports, excursions and optional activities are subject to:

- Safety requirements

- Operational circumstances
If an optional activity becomes unavailable due to weather, safety concerns, operator decisions, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, it may be cancelled or replaced where possible.
Non-availability of an optional activity due to such circumstances will not automatically qualify for a refund.
10. Local Transportation
Transportation within Malé and the local islands may include taxis, public ferries, regular speedboats, shared transfers or other locally available transportation.
Transport schedules, vehicle types, routes and operating arrangements are subject to availability, weather, sea conditions and operational requirements.
Public ferries, regular speedboats, airport transfers and certain excursions may operate on a shared basis, unless private transportation is specifically confirmed in writing.
11. Transfer Delays & Changes
Ferry, speedboat, airline and airport transfer schedules may change due to weather, sea conditions, operational requirements, technical issues, government instructions or other circumstances.
Travellers are expected to cooperate with revised schedules or alternative arrangements reasonably provided during the trip.
Gotripzee.com cannot guarantee exact departure times where transportation is operated by independent suppliers or affected by circumstances beyond our control.
12. Room Allocation
Rooms will be allocated according to the accommodation and room category included in the confirmed package.
Specific:

- Building locations
- Floor levels
- Views
- Bed configurations
- Adjoining rooms
- Specific villas or units
cannot be guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing by the accommodation provider.
13. Room Views & Special Requests
Sea views, water villas, king-size beds, adjoining rooms, honeymoon arrangements, decorations and other special requests are subject to availability unless expressly confirmed in writing.
A request does not constitute a guarantee.
14. Early Check-in & Late Check-out
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to the accommodation provider's availability and policies.
Additional charges may apply and must be paid by the guest where applicable.
15. Accommodation Standards

17. Meals & Meal Plan
Only the meals specifically mentioned under the confirmed package inclusions are provided.
Additional meals, beverages, refreshments and personal dining expenses are payable by the guest unless expressly included in the package.
Meal options may vary according to the accommodation's daily availability and operational arrangements. Specific dishes, brands or menu items cannot be guaranteed in advance unless expressly confirmed.
18. Internet, Electricity & Local Utilities
Wi-Fi availability, internet speed, mobile network coverage and electricity supply may vary depending on the island, accommodation and local infrastructure.
Temporary interruptions, reduced connectivity or service limitations may occur.
Gotripzee.com is not responsible for interruptions or limitations in internet, mobile network, electricity or other utility services provided by third parties or local infrastructure.
19. Resort & Island Access
Access to certain islands, beaches, excursions, resort facilities or other locations may be temporarily restricted or unavailable due to:
- Weather conditions
- Sea conditions
- Maintenance
- Safety requirements
- Government regulations
- Local restrictions
- Operational requirements
Such restrictions may occur without advance notice.
20. Service Delays
Check-in, transfers, meals, excursions, activities and other services may occasionally experience delays due to operational circumstances.
Travellers acknowledge that local travel operations may not always operate according to the exact timing originally anticipated.
21. Package Inclusions
Only the services specifically stated under “Package Inclusions” are included in the confirmed package.
Any additional service, upgrade, activity, meal, transfer, room arrangement or special request not specifically included may incur additional charges.
22. Price Changes & Confirmation
Package prices may be affected by fluctuations in:
- Airfare
- Ferry and speedboat charges
- Fuel prices
- Taxes
- Government fees
- Supplier rates
- Seasonal demand
- Other operational costs
The applicable package price is considered confirmed only after the booking has been accepted and confirmed according to the applicable booking procedure.
23. Travel Documents & Immigration
Travellers are solely responsible for ensuring that they carry all valid and required travel documents, including:
- Valid passport
- Visa or entry permission, where applicable
- Flight tickets
- Identification documents
- Other documents required by immigration, airlines or government authorities
Gotripzee.com cannot guarantee admission into the Maldives or any other destination, as immigration and entry decisions remain solely with the relevant authorities.
24. Medical Emergencies & Travel Insurance
Travellers are responsible for their own medical expenses, hospitalisation, emergency treatment, evacuation costs and related expenses arising during the trip.
Travellers are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, baggage and other relevant travel risks.
25. Damage to Property
Any damage caused by a guest to hotel or guesthouse rooms, resort property, boats, vehicles, equipment or public/private property must be settled directly by the guest with the relevant property owner or service provider.
Gotripzee.com will not be responsible for such charges.
26. Local Laws, Religion & Customs
The Maldives is an Islamic country. Guests are expected to respect local laws, religious practices, cultural customs and applicable dress requirements.
On local islands, modest clothing is expected in accordance with local customs. Swimwear should generally be restricted to designated tourist beaches, resort areas or other permitted locations.
Any fines, penalties, legal consequences or other liabilities arising from a guest's violation of local laws or regulations shall be the sole responsibility of the guest.
27. Mid-Trip Cancellation / Early Departure
If a guest voluntarily leaves the tour or package before its scheduled completion, no refund or adjustment will automatically be provided for the unused portion of the package.
Any exception will depend entirely on the applicable cancellation policy and the recoverability of amounts from the relevant suppliers.
28. Photography & Promotional Media
Photographs or videos captured during the trip may be used by Gotripzee.com for promotional, marketing or social media purposes, unless the guest informs Gotripzee.com in writing before commencement of the tour that they do not wish to be featured.
Where practical, reasonable efforts will be made to respect such requests.
29. Guest Cooperation
Guests are expected to cooperate with:
- Hotel and guesthouse staff
- Transport operators
- Boat operators
- Tour coordinators
- Activity providers
- Local authorities
Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions, operational requirements and local regulations throughout the trip.
30. Acceptance of Local Travel Conditions
By confirming the package, guests acknowledge that travel conditions, transportation schedules, weather, sea conditions, accommodation facilities, local infrastructure and operational procedures in the Maldives may differ from those in their home country.
Guests agree to remain reasonably flexible and cooperative when changes are required due to weather, safety, supplier operations, government instructions or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Important Note
Gotripzee.com will make reasonable efforts to deliver the services included in the confirmed itinerary as agreed. However, travel involves circumstances that cannot always be predicted or controlled.
Where a service is affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by an independent supplier, we will, where reasonably possible, assist with coordination, alternative arrangements or communication with the relevant provider. Any refund, credit or compensation will remain subject to the applicable supplier terms, package cancellation policy and amounts actually recoverable.
By proceeding with the booking, the traveller confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
