2. Weather & Sea Conditions

Inter-island transfers and water activities are subject to weather and sea conditions. Delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes may occur without prior notice. No refunds or compensation will be provided for such disruptions.

3. Itinerary Flexibility

The itinerary may be modified due to weather conditions, operational requirements, transport availability, or local authority regulations. Guests are expected to cooperate with any necessary changes.

4. Transport & Transfers

Transportation may include local taxis, public ferries, regular speedboats, or other local transport as specified in the package. Seaplane transfers, domestic flights, and private speedboats are not included unless specifically mentioned.

5. Reporting Time & Missed Transfers

Guests must report on time for all transfers and activities. Missed ferries, speedboats, excursions, or other services due to late arrival will be considered a no-show, and the Gotripzee.com team will not be responsible for any resulting expenses.

6. Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided according to the selected package category. Room allocation, check-in, and check-out are subject to the policies of the respective hotel or resort.

7. Meals

Meals will be provided only as mentioned in the package inclusions. Any additional meals, beverages, or room service charges must be paid directly by the guest.

8. Local Laws, Religion & Customs

The Maldives is an Islamic country. Guests are expected to respect local laws, religious beliefs, customs, and cultural practices.

  • Modest clothing is recommended while visiting local islands and public places.
  • Swimwear should only be worn at designated beaches, resorts, or permitted areas.
  • Public displays of affection should be avoided on local islands.

14. Payments & Personal Expenses

  • All itinerary timings are based on Maldives Time (MVT). Maldives is 30 minutes behind Indian Standard Time (IST).
  • Guests are advised to book their arrival flight to Velana International Airport (MLE) after 1:00 PM (Maldives Time) on Day 1.
  • Guests returning on the last day should book their departure flight after 5:00 PM (Maldives Time) to allow sufficient time for transfers and airport formalities.
  • Speedboat and public ferry schedules are operated by local authorities and service providers and may change without prior notice due to weather or operational reasons.
